The
U-10 And U-11 age groups are considered instructional ages and will
focus on small-sided training and games. Those groups will have
several technical trainers in addition to the age group coaches.
Those trainers will be working with the teams on a constant basis—focusing
intensely on individual skills with the ball. The U-10 age group
will play a limited competitive travel schedule which will include
team play in PAGS. However the focus will remain on in house small
sided training and friendly play days with other clubs.
The
U-11 age group, while focusing on small-sided training, will play
a competitive travel schedule. The group will include a PAGS Cup
division team and a developmental team, which will play in an appropriate
PAGS division.
Vincent United recognizes that players can and will develop at their
own pace. Therefore, it is Vincent United's philosophy that all
players will train as an age-group pool and receive the same benefits
of the program while playing at their current developmental level.
Starting
at U-12, Vincent United will build on the basic skills and techniques
learned in the earlier age groups, advancing these skills and techniques
with higher tactical training to create and start premier teams
capable of competing at the highest levels.
The
U-15 to U-18 age groups will concentrate on high level tournaments,
State Cup and College Showcases. Vincent United will stress competitions
that will give the players exposure to college coaches.
